Start-up Thursday Talks: Future Opportunities

On July 7th, the Civic Engagement Hub sponsored a Start-up Thursday talk with the Orbit Innovation Hub and CEO of FSD Ethiopia, Ermias Eshetu, on Ethiopia’s changing financial landscape. Ethiopia is in the process of launching its first stock exchange, which is expected to launch in the next 24 months. The discussion focused on the benefits of capital markets to support private sector development and how the stock exchange stands to reshape opportunities for Ethiopian SMEs and startups.
