Training Opportunity: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning for CSOs and Registering CSOs and Businesses in Ethiopia


Calling all Ethiopian CSOs, businesses, social enterprises, and Business Associations 

Join the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Civic Engagement Hub on June 17 & 18 2021 at the Best Western Hotel for a two day training session on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning and the process of registering civil society organizations, business associations, and businesses in Ethiopia.   

Introduction to Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability (MEAL): On June 17th, the CIPE Civic Engagement Hub is excited to welcome Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Ahmed Mohamed Awel to facilitate a training on Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability.  

This full-day training session will introduce the basics of MEAL and is designed specifically for civil society organizations. In this training session, participants will learn about foundational frameworks, data collection methods, and tools that can help CSOs measure and communicate the impact and results of their programs. This training is intended for all levels of civil society groups, from informal CSOs through well-established organizations.  

Registering CSOs and Business in Ethiopia: On June 18th, the CIPE Civic Engagement Hub is excited to welcome Managing Director of Kumlachew Dagne and Associates Law Office, Kumlachew Dagne to facilitate a training on the process of registering civil society organizations, business associations, and businesses in Ethiopia.    

This half-day training session will focus on sharing guidance on the registration process and legal requirements, with an emphasis on the new requirements for civil society organizations. The training is intended for participants of all levels of expertise from CSOs, businesses and business associations. 

Participants may register for one or both training sessions. Space is limited, so please register early! 

To comply with COVID-19 guidelines, registration will be capped at 25 participants for each day, and all participants must wear protective face coverings (face masks) at all times and employ social distancing best practices.
